Diwali 2026 · Solar powered · Zero wiring

A lantern that paints the room around it.

Most lights are something you look at. This one decorates. Once the sun sets, its cut-out band glows in a full rainbow of colours and spills patterns of light onto the walls and floor around it — turning a plain doorstep, balcony ledge or terrace corner into the most photographed spot in the house.

  • ☀️ Runs on sunlight — the solar panel on top charges it through the day
  • 🌙 Turns on by itself — a light sensor switches it on as evening falls
  • 🔌 No plug, no socket, no electrician — place it wherever the sun reaches
  • 🌈 Rainbow glow — colour through the cut-out pattern, and colour on every surface nearby
  • 🏮 Just set it down — no drilling or mounting; it sits on any flat surface

The festive problem nobody talks about

The rangoli is done, the diyas are lit, the torans are up — and then the outdoor spaces go dark the moment the sun sets. Lighting them usually means hunting for a socket, dragging an extension board across the floor and untangling last year's fairy lights.

This lantern skips all of that. Set it down once, and every evening takes care of itself.

How it works

  1. Switch it on — just once, then leave it be.
  2. Set it in the sun — doorstep, balcony ledge, terrace parapet or garden.
  3. Let dusk do the rest — it lights up automatically after dark.

Where it looks best

  • On the floor either side of the main door (a pair keeps it symmetrical)
  • Balcony ledges and corners that disappear at night
  • Terrace parapets and low walls for evening gatherings
  • Garden paths, steps and outdoor tables

Tip: place it close to a light-coloured wall or floor — the nearer the surface, the sharper and more vivid the light pattern.

Not just for Diwali

Buy it for the festival, keep it for the year. It works just as well for weekend dinners on the terrace, house parties, weddings at home and quiet evenings on the balcony.

Which pack should I pick?

  • Pack of 1 — a single statement piece for one corner or table.
  • Pack of 2 — our most popular; one for each side of the entrance.
  • Pack of 3 — the festive set for entrance + balcony or terrace. Best value.

Frequently asked

Does it need electricity?
No grid electricity at all. It runs on a rechargeable battery charged by the solar panel on top.

Will it switch on by itself?
Yes. After you switch it on the first time, its light sensor turns it on automatically once it gets dark.

Do I need to mount or drill anything?
No. It's a free-standing lantern — just set it on any flat surface that gets sun during the day.

How much sun does it need?
It charges best in direct sunlight. The more sun the panel gets during the day, the longer it glows at night.

What about cloudy days?
Less sunlight means less charge, so it will glow for a shorter time that evening — it simply recharges the next sunny day.

Can I use it on a balcony?
Yes, as long as the top panel gets direct sun during the day.

Is it a good gift?
Very. It needs no installation, so it's an easy Diwali or housewarming gift that people actually use.
